PEMC Ambassador Program

What is the PEMC Ambassador Program
PEMC Ambassadors serve as a vital link between the Cooperative Extension Service (CES) and the community. Ambassadors act as Extension representatives, promoting awareness of CES’s mission, values, and educational opportunities.
What You'll Do
In this role, they advocate for Extension programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Health and Human Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Development, while strengthening visibility and outreach.
Ambassadors build connections by serving as liaisons between Purdue Extension and local audiences, fostering relationships with individuals, families, schools, organizations, and businesses.
They also support community engagement by encouraging participation in programs, sharing success stories, and demonstrating the value of research-based education.
Through their leadership and service, Ambassadors help ensure that Purdue Extension Marion County’s resources remain accessible, relevant, and impactful throughout the community.
