9:00am- Boer Goats, Pygmy Goats Show

The Pygmy and Boer Goats will show will begin at 9:00am in the show arena.

10:00am- Cat Show

The Cat show will be held in the Exhibit Hall.

1:00pm- Tractor operator contest

Please note that the ID section will look a little different this year. You may complete it anytime between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM Thursday in the Community Building. The ID portion is timed and should take no more than 20 minutes to complete.

A reminder that the driving portion will begin at 1:00 PM at the track.

A big thank you to Hutson Inc. of Newberry, IN, who generously donated this year’s equipment! We encourage members to write a thank-you note ahead of time to send to our donors. We will also have a few cards available at the event if you’d prefer to write one there.

4:00pm- small animal round robin meeting

             - Large Animal Round Robin Meeting

Meetings will take place at the Community Building. All showmanship winners intending on participating in Round Robin are expected to attend this meeting.

6:00pm- Goat Costume

Goat Costume judging will take place in the Show Arena. Everyone is encouraged to attend!

           - Horse & Pony: versatility

Versatility classes will be held in the horse arena. 

9:00am- Small Animal round robin

The Hors & Pony Fun show will take place in the horse arena.

This event will take place in the Expo Hall. Senior tickets are complementary of the 4-H Council. Additional guests tickets are available for $15.

Those project that are not picked up on Friday, July 11 at 9pm can be picked up between 2:00-4:00pm on this day. If special arrangements are needed for project pick up, please contact the Extension Office prior to this day. State Fair projects that do not need changes can be left at the Exhibit Hall.

We encourage you to attend the Awards Ceremony that will take place-at the Park tent sponsored by Lawrence County Farm Bureau. Senior, Scholarship, Outstanding 4-Her, Volunteer, Exhibit Hall, and more, Awards will be given at this time.

The Rabbit show will begin at 5:00pm in the show arena.

This event will take place in the Expo Hall. Those wishing to participate will need to be at the Expo Hall no later than 2:30pm.

4:00PM- Exhibit Hall Awards

Please gather under the park tent, that was graciously donated by Lawrence County Farm Bureau, as we celebrate Lawrence County youth on their acheivements and honors. *Exhibit Hall Grand Opening to follow.

6:00Pm- Horse & Pony: Halter Classes & Showmanship

The first show of the day will be Halter in the Horse Arena. Showbill Copy

9:00am- Foods Judging

Judging will take place in the Community Building Basement.

       - Cake & Cupcake Decorating

Judging will take place in the Exhibit Hall.

10:00am- Horticulture, Beekeeping, Floriculture Judging

This judging set will take place at the Exhibit Hall.

6:00Pm- Dog Agility

9:00am- Sewing, Fashion Revue, Public Speaking, & Demonstrations Judging

Judging will take place at the Expo Hall. Minis' participation is optional. If you do not wish to stay for judging, projects may be dropped off between 8:30-9:00am.

5:30pm- Project Judging & Minis

 Judging will take place in the Exhibit Hall. This includes photography judging.

Until 6pm- Early Project Drop-off (Optional)

If your family will be traveling the week of July 4, 4-H projects may be dropped off at the Exension Office until 6pm on this date. This is only for those who will not be able to attend the July 1st & 3rd project judging dates and times. 

4:30pm- Creative Writing Deadline

These submissions need to be emailed to Lesley by 4:30pm, lodmell@purdue.edu
