Current 4-H Calendar, Newsletter, and Current Sign Up Sheets
The 4-H Horse and Pony Project provides youth a fun and hands-on learning experience that develops life skills, as well as teaches valuable information about properly caring for their animal. Subjects such as general management, training, nutrition, housing, and health care are presented in the curricular materials, through workshops and activities such as horse bowl, Hippology and judging, and in preparation of an exhibit.
The 3rd Fort Wayne Local Food Summit was held on March 14, 2017 in the IPFW Classic Ballroom. Presenter resources included.
Several individuals have inquired about the large, wild carrot appearing weeds growing in our ditches and roadsides. There is a fear the weed is giant hogweed; a large, phototoxic plant. I am here to put those fears at ease but still caution people of poison hemlock.
Keep up to date with 4-H meetings, workshops, and deadlines with the 4-H newsletter.
