About The Program

What We Do

As more farms adopt precision agriculture technology and digital agriculture strategies, the industry will need people with proven skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), data science, programming, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and precision equipment.

Purdue Extension’s Digital Agriculture Curriculum prepares participants for future employment in agriculture through a mixture of presentations and experiential learning, with a focus on experiential learning in precision agriculture technology.
