The Washington County Shooting Sports club teaches safe operation of firearms and archery equipment to 4-H members in grades 3-12.  Washington County disciplines include archery, rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader and pistol and are lead by a 4-H certified instructor.  The club meets in the 4-H building at the Washington Co. Fairgrounds (118 Fair St., Salem).
