What's your favorite aspect of working with our team?

I love having the opportunity to make a difference in my community with truly incredible colleagues.

What's one goal you hope to accomplish with the team this year?

This year, I am working to create asynchronous, online learning opportunities for our Marion County 4-H adult volunteers focused on the topics of Family Engagement, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, and Social Well-Being.

What motivates you to do your best work every day?

My passion for Indianapolis youth and families inspires me and keeps me motivated.

What's one unique skill or hobby you bring to the team?

I'm your favorite writing buddy. I am a creative writing major with a passion for drafting content, editing, and revising!

If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Authentic Space Cadet

What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone just starting in your field?

Be creative! Don't be afraid to meet challenges with weird or wacky solutions.

What's a book or podcast you'd recommend to your teammates?

Map to the Stars, an incredible collection of poetry by former Indiana poet laureate Adrian Matejka. Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut (I love this book so much I have a "So it goes" tattoo!)

What's something you're passionate about outside of work?

Swimming, connecting with nature, taking life less seriously.
