FARM TRACTOR

Junior Division includes grades 3-7
Senior Division includes grades 8-12

 

Youth must a complete record sheet and should be prepared to give a demonstration at a county meeting.

Participants can exhibit a poster at the 4-H Fair.

4-H Farm Tractor Operators Contest

♥  Periodic meetings may be held to assist members with tractor safety, parts & maintenance
    and driving.

♥  Tractor club project members are eligible to compete in an annual contest measuring the
    members’ parts identification, maintenance, safety and driving skills. The highest scoring
    4-H Farm Tractor members in each division will represent the county in area competition
    with area winners advancing to the state contest conducted during the Indiana State Fair.

♥  Completion of record sheet and quizzes are required to participate in the tractor operators'
    contest.

♥  Youth seeking details about the competition rules, course and method of scoring should
    contact one of the tractor leaders or the Extension office.

LAWN & GARDEN TRACTOR

(Compact Tractor)

Junior Division includes grades 3-7
Senior Division includes grades 8-12

Lawn and Garden Operators' Contest

♠  Meetings may be held to assist members with mower safety, parts identification,
    maintenance, and driving.

♠  Completion of record sheet and quizzes are required to participate in the Lawn
    and Garden Tractor Operators' Contest.

♠  Lawn & Garden project members are eligible to compete in an annual contest
    measuring the members’ parts identification, maintenance, safety and driving
    skills. The highest scoring 4-H Lawn & Garden members in each division will
    represent the county in area competition with area qualifiers advancing to the
    state contest conducted during the Indiana State Fair.
