If you would like to make a donation in memory of a Hendricks County Extension Homemaker, please download and fill out the Memorial Gift Donation Form under the Extension Homemaker Forms below. Holiday Fest
Come out the the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds on Friday, December 6th for lots of holiday shopping from craft vendors! There will also be entertainment from the Homemaker's Chorus, a cookie walk selling homemade cookies, and lunch served from 11am-1pm. This event is sponsored by Hendricks County Extension Homemakers and Hendricks Power Cooperative! We hope to see you there!
Teacher Grants
Hendricks County Homemakers are aware that many times teachers must sacrifice and use their own resources and funds to supplement their classrooms. We have decided to help by offering a $150 grant to qualified applicants in Hendricks County.
All applicants must be submitted by the 15th of each month and will be awarded at the discretion of the grant committee.

2025 SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The Hendricks County Extension Homemakers offer three $1,000.00 educational scholarships to qualified Hendricks County graduating seniors to help further their educational goals and to encourage their continued development. The scholarship will be awarded to a recipient regardless of the field of study. However, preference will be given to students enrolled in Health and Human Sciences, Food Science, and Education.

EXTENSION HOMEMAKER CLUB INFORMATION
Club – Hazelwood
Members – 14
Club meets – 1st Wednesday of month, Sept - May 10:00 a.m. Hazelwood Christian Church
Community Service – Local missions, projects for the homeless, and support Riley Children's Hospital. We have many other projects that we give monetary support as well. Not only these projects, we have a lot of fun and laughter during our meetings with crafts, enjoy lunch and shopping outings. We are a club who enjoy each other with all that we do.
Club - Modern Homemakers
Members- 21
Club meets – 3rd Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Bartlett Chapel, 4396 E. Main St., Avon
Community Service – Collect school supplies for schools, food for Food Pantries, supplies for Susie’s Place, Pet Food for Senior Services
Club - Chat N Do
Members – 16
Club meets – 2nd Wednesday 9:30 a.m. @ various locations within Hendricks. Co.- Fairgrounds, homes, etc.
Community Service – projects for homeless; read to Head Start; Riley Children Hospital; sponsor Quilt Block contest at the Fair; assist with Bundle ‘Em Up Coat Drive; day trips.

Community Service - Make A Difference, Make puffy pillows for Riley, rehab centers and nursing facilities.

Club meets – 1st Thursday of month, 7:00 p.m. in members’ homes.
Community Service – Make A Difference, Read to Head Start, participate in community non-for-profit organizations, support North Salem Old Fashion Days.
