What is this program about?
Market Ready is a program developed by Kentucky Extension that helps local food producers prepare for selling to wholesale markets. Purdue Extension is bringing the program to Indiana on December 13, 2024 from 9am to 2pm EST. Currently registration is full. If you’re interested in attending a future session of the Market Ready program, please complete this interest survey. There is a focus on business skills needed to meet the expectations of potential buyers. We are excited for the possibilities as Indiana producers venture into new marketing channels and learn more about product quality, food safety, insurance/managing risks, etc.
The cost is $50 per participant (lunch is included).
Registration is limited to the first 30 participants.
