Horse Bowl, Hippology & Horse Communications Career Development Events
The objectives of Hippology are to provide an opportunity for youth to learn and demonstrate their breadth of knowledge and understanding of horse management and to learn life-skills such as acquiring knowledge, communicating, solving problems, relating to others and applying leadership skills.
Horse Bowl & Hippology Contests:
- March 23, 2024
- Purdue University, Lilly Hall of Life Sciences
- Registration for each event is due March 8th
- Cost is $15 per participant, per event. Lunch is not provided and will need to be brought or delivered to particpants.
- Divisions are Junior, Intermediate, Senior.

Horse Communications (Demonstration & Public Speaking) Contests:
- April 11, 2024
- VIRTUAL. Time TBD by number and location of participants.
- Youth will sign up for time slots to deliver their presentation live to judges via Zoom. This will allow judges to ask questions and provide feedback etc.
- Registration for each event is due March 28
- Horse Demonstration Registration Link - Only 1 member needs to register for the event if they are a team and include the name of their teammate.
