Renewable Energy Planning Regional Workshop and Bus Tour– Starke County
This program is designed for public officials and community leaders seeking a better understanding of Indiana’s current energy landscape and utility-scale renewable energy developments as they make planning and policy decisions in their communities.
This workshop will be held at the Bass Lake Fire Department Community Room, 7225 US-35, Knox, IN 46534.
Cost:
- Workshop is free.
- Bus Tour is $25.00 per participant.
Agenda:
- 9:30 am-1:30 pm – Workshop
- 12:00-1:00 pm - Lunch and Panel with Local Leaders
- 1:30- 4:00 pm - Bus Tour of Agrivoltaics Site
Participants may attend the full day or part of the day. Lunch is provided for all participants.
Bus tour requirements: Participants must have a government-issued ID and wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and long sleeves to participate in the bus tour. Personal safety equipment, including a hard hat, safety vest, and eye protection, will be provided and must be worn at all times while on site. A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 18.
