There will be several opportunities to learn more about food preservation! Purdue University Extension will host three separate 4-day workshops for Mastering Home Food Preservation. Those interested in learning how to preserve food by: boiling water bath canning, pressure canning, pickling & fermenting, freezing & dehydrating, and making jams & jellies should register for this multi day workshop. The workshops include a lecture and hands on laboratory where participants practice various preservation methods. Participants will gain valuable resources, have interactive discussions, and have take home products. The Mastering Home Food Preservation Notebook is included in the cost of the class. The cost for the workshop is $275 and pre-registration is required.
