When did you start working at Extension & what is your job title? I started working for Purdue Extension Marion County in October 2014.  I am a Community Wellness Coordinator in the Nutrition Education Program.

Where did you go to college and what was your major? Purdue University.  Major:  Communication: Advertising.

What was the "aha moment" that got you interested in working with Purdue Extension?  A friend shared with me about Purdue Extension jobs, some part-time with benefits, in counties throughout the state which piqued my interest when I was looking to re-enter the workforce after being home with my children. I love the aspect that this work is mission-oriented and that service to others is the central component of this work.

What is the app on your phone you can't live without?  Google maps.

Who inspired you most in your career?  Rose Kennedy, mother of John F. Kennedy. I read her biography early in my adulthood and was struck by her devotion to raising a large family. Here is one of her quotes, “I looked on child-rearing not only as a work of love and duty but as a profession that was fully as interesting and challenging as any honorable profession in the world and one that demanded the best I could bring to it….. What greater aspiration and challenge are there for a mother than the hope of raising a great son or daughter?”

What is your favorite restaurant?  Greek food.

What do you tell Alexa to play most often? Top hits.

What is one word you would use to describe PEMC? Dynamic

It's your last dinner party on earth, you can invite 3 people that are not of blood relation to join you at your table. These people can be alive or dead. Who are they?  That’s a tough question.  It would be nice to share a meal with great leaders from the past, but I think that I’d like to meet with several childhood friends with whom I lost contact as family moves separated us.

Last question, do you believe in ghosts? What about Aliens? Ghosts, yes.  Aliens, not sure.
