When did you start working at Extension & what is your job title?

I started as an Urban Agriculture Educator in April of 2018.

Where did you go to college and what was your major?

I graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Urban Forestry and a Master of Landscape Architecture with a Certificate in Ecological Restoration.

What was the "aha moment" that got you interested in working with Purdue Extension?

When I saw the scope of the programming Extension makes available to our residents, including community development tools.

What is the app on your phone you can't live without?

Since I moved back here after being gone several years, I still use the map alot.

Who inspired you most in your career?

Aldo Leopold, for one.

What is your favorite restaurant?

Miyabi Sushi in Seattle. Three Carrots in Indy. Or Mama's Korean on Pendleton Pike. When it comes to food, I could never choose one favorite.

What do you tell Alexa to play most often?

During COVID Miles Davis has been playing a lot.

What is one word you would use to describe PEMC?

It's your last dinner party on earth, you can invite 3 people that are not of blood relation to join you at your table. These people can be alive or dead. Who are they?

Aldo Leopold.  Greta Thunberg.  Angela Davis.

Last question, do you believe in ghosts? What about Aliens?

I leave room for them in the world.
