Why: Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) training and certification is now required for beef producers selling 'fed cattle' (finished beef steer and heifers coming of of the feedlot) that ultimately are processed by many of today's major packers. BQA certification is good for 3 years and the program is free to producers either in the face-to-face or online format.
