Neysette Ramos Navarro
Neysette Ramos Navarro is from Puerto Rico and has lived in Indiana for over 17 years. She is the Senior Administrative Assistant for the Community Development Extension office, where she provides high-level administrative support. She develops, implements, and maintains/improves processes related to administrative support operations. Neysette also assists the North Central Regional Center for Rural Development through Dr. Michael Wilcox.
Neysette possesses a B.S. in Elementary Education, and a Minor in Spanish from Purdue University. She has helped with the organization of the 1st Tippecanoe Latino Festival at Ivy Tech, the Latino Coalition-(former Brown St. location) events, and the Convoy of Hope for families in crisis in the Lafayette community. Neysette was also part of Latinas Taking the Lead for Central Indiana Girl Scouts. She had the initiative to create the community event, Hurricane Maria Relief, where she was able to collect hundreds of needed supplies for Puerto Rico. Neysette is actively eager about supporting the community and overall human relations. She intends to pursue a master’s degree in human services soon.
