Boiling Water Bath Canning Workshop - Salsa

Purdue Extension will be hosting a local workshop focused on food preservation. Individuals can attend to learn more about preserving food safely at home. The workshop will be on May 30th from 12:00 - 5:00 PM ET at the Unity Garden – South Bend, 3701 Prast Blvd. South Bend, IN 46628. The topic of the day will be “Boiling Water Bath Canning” and will feature a lecture, hands on practice with equipment, and a take home product made that day. Individuals will learn how to use boiling water bath canning equipment, safety on canning, and be able to ask questions. The cost of the workshop is $30 and seats are limited.
