Purdue Extension Offers Workshop for Jams and Jellies

Join Health and Human Science Educator, Karen Richey, from the Marshall County Extension office for a workshop on making jams and jellies. The workshop will focus on how to properly make and process your jams and jellies using the "boiling water bath" preservation method. No experience is necessary, and no additional supplies are needed to attend this hands-on class.
The workshop will be held at the South Bend Unity Gardens at 3701 Prast Blvd, South Bend, IN 46628 on December 8, 2023, from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM ET. The cost of the workshop, including a take-home product, is $30. The class size is limited to the first 16 participants and registration is required. Please register at https://cvent.me/QDXbYW by November 30th. For more information on this workshop please contact Karen Richey at 574-935-8545 or krichey@purdue.edu.
As the holidays are approaching quickly, homemade items like jams and jellies make wonderful holiday gifts! These gifts can be made in small batches in a single afternoon. If you would like to find other food preservation workshops hosted by Purdue Extension visit: https://bit.ly/393hmty
