4-H Recycling Project

- Level A & B manual – grades 3 - 6
- Level C & D manual – grades 7 - 12
Exhibition Requirements
Select from either an article or a poster. The article must have a large index card or ½ sheet of paper attached to the project explaining the following:
- What is the project that you have made?
- What is it made from?
- Of those items – which were recycled and which did you purchase for this project?
- How much time did it take to make your project?
- What was the total cost of materials for your project?
- How are you going to use your project?
Note: Each year,in all levels, the 4-H'er must complete a different recycled article or poster.
*IMPORTANT - THERE IS NO NOTEBOOK REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT.*
Level A (3rd & 4th Grade) Exhibit one of the following:
- Recycle an article by making it into something else you can use. 4-H CRAFT CARD MUST BE attached to the project with the exhibit questions answered.
- Prepare a poster (22”x 28”) following poster requirements showing something you learned about Recycling. This may be a topic from the activities you completed or another recycling topic.
Level B (5th & 6th Grade) Exhibit one of the following:
- Recycle an article by making it into something else you can use. 4-H CRAFT CARD MUST be attached to the project with the exhibit questions answered.
- Prepare a poster (22”x 28”) following poster requirements, showing something you learned about Recycling.
Level C (7th-9th Grade) Exhibit one of the following:
- Recycle an article by making it into something else you can use. 4-H CRAFT CARD MUST be attached to the project with the exhibit questions answered.
- Prepare a poster (22"x 28") following poster requirements, showing something you learned about recycling. This may be a topic from the activities you completed or another recycling topic.
Level D (10th-12th Grade) Exhibit one of the following:
- Recycle an article by making it into something else you can use. 4-H CRAFT CARD MUST be attached to the project with the exhibit questions answered.
