There is no manual for this project. There is a record sheet that must be completed each year on your project.
Complete record sheet and turn in to your 4-H leader or to the Extension Office by the announced date.
Exhibition Requirements
NO Die Casts at any level. Project MUST have a 4-H Craft Information Card (4-H 618a-W) with description of work completed on the project this card is for all craft related projects for county and state fair. No “Lego” built models are allowed.
Each member will build and exhibit one article. Any type of model is suitable. Examples are cars, trucks, trains, ships, and tanks. Any dimension (length, width, or height) over 24 inches will be penalized. Kits are acceptable.
Exhibit division is based strictly on the grade of the member during the year. With each division, members are encouraged to increase the level of difficulty as they progress through the project. Level of difficulty can be determined by the number of pieces, gluing needed, painting and type of painting and use of decals. For example a 5th grader should do a more difficult model than what was done in 3rd grade. By 11th and 12th grades the member should be doing a very difficult model.
State Fair Exhibit
Two (2) entries Grand and Reserve Grand will represent Blackford County at the Indiana State Fair.
