4-H Dance is designed to be a FUN way for you to learn about dance and be active.

Completion Requirements
Complete the record sheet and turn it into your leader or to the Extension Office by the required date.
Exhibit Options—County only. No STATE FAIR Entries
- Beginner—Grades 3-5
- Exhibit a poster (use general poster guidelines) Select from the following topics:
- Your favorite type of dance and why? (i.e. ballet, clogging, folk, modern)
- A famous dancer (from the past or current) that you admire and why?
- Exhibit a poster (use general poster guidelines) Select from the following topics:
- Intermediate—Grades 6-8
- Exhibit a poster (use general poster guidelines) Select from the following topics:
- A famous performance of a dance (i.e. Swan Lake ballet) and what you like about it.
- History of a type of dance. Can be modern or historical. (i.e. waltz, rumba, break dancing)
- Basic information of how to do a specific dance step. (i.e. waltz, rumba, break dancing)
- Exhibit a poster (use general poster guidelines) Select from the following topics:
- Advanced—Grades 9-12
- Exhibit a poster (use general poster guidelines) Select from the following topics:
- A famous dance/performance school that you might like to attend.
- A famous choreographer and what you like about their work.
- Careers that are related to the field of dance and what you would like about it.
- Exhibit a poster (use general poster guidelines) Select from the following topics:
