Workshops to Improve your Business’ Online Presence and Increase Sales

In 2017, Extension Community Development and the Purdue Center for Regional Development (PCRD) sought a way to help Indiana small businesses enhance their online presence. Together they created the Digital Ready Businesses program, hosting numerous hands-on training sessions through educational workshops. Now, in 2022, the program has been updated to add new content that reflect current trends. The twelve workshops are available to teach entrepreneurs and small business owners strategies on how to create a digital ready business.

WHAT IS A DIGITAL READY BUSINESS?

A digital ready business is one that understands the importance of the digital economy and has technical knowledge to incorporate digital strategies. The workshops, led by Purdue trainers, are focused on strengthening this technical knowledge to give businesses an edge in the booming digital economy.

This current series of workshops has a topic for every level of technical knowledge from “Website Basics” to “Email Marketing Analytics.” Workshops on emerging technologies and social media strategies can help business owners develop their online presence and attract more customers.

WORKSHOP BENEFITS

Businesses participating in our workshops have reported increased sales, customer base and customer engagement.  Over 90% of these businesses recommend the workshops to other business owners. It is an opportunity to learn a variety of essential tools to help businesses overcome digital obstacles.
