Welcome Claire Crum

Reminders and alerts for Purdue Extension CD educators.

Claire Crum is the new National EDEN Assistant Project Coordinator. She will assist in coordinating a variety of special projects in support of EDEN and Purdue Extension. This will include assisting in the development, production, implementation, and distribution of research reports, educational curricula, grant administration and content-delivery strategies, as well as working with communications specialists to collaborate on EDEN/Purdue Extension projects.

Claire is from Cass County, Indiana. She earned a Bachelor’s in Animal Science from the University of Findlay in 2018 and her Master’s from Purdue in Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication in 2020. While at Purdue, she designed and implemented her own graduate research study, a survey titled Understanding Consumer Food Choice, Information Sourcing, Selection, Needs and Wants. She completed internships for Purdue Extension and the Indiana State Fair Education Department.

She hopes to build a career in Purdue Extension where she can promote agriculture education and community development. She is thrilled to be able to learn and grow with EDEN and take part in their research-based education and promote their educational resources, as well as become a part of such a diverse network of expert educators.
