More than the 4-H Fair
While the Purdue Extension Office in Madison County manages the Fair and all the related 4-H contests and shows, we do much more.
- 4-H Educators support over 20 local, volunteer-run Madison County 4-H clubs. The clubs build youth leadership skills and focus on everything from home arts to high-tech skills.
- The Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator provides agricultural consultation and lab services for the largest farms in the county, as well as the smallest gardeners and those interested in our natural resources.
- The Health and Human Sciences Educator serves the county by helping people spend smartly, eat right, live well, and strengthen their families by sharing information from Purdue University.
- Our Community Wellness Coordinator and the Nutrition Education Program Advisor assist Madison County community members in securing nutritious foods, making sound economic decisions, and improving wellness facilities and policies.
We are here for Madison County.
