Cora Reinbolt is the Bartholomew County Educator for Community Development and Agriculture & Natural Resources. Cora is passionate about livestock production, international extension, and intercultural awareness. She thrives when working in these three areas, or a combination of the above.

As coordinator for the county’s Master Gardener Program, she serves as a trainer and supervisor to a group of community volunteers that provide home horticulture education throughout the area. She also works with local and regional partners to plan programming that fits the needs of the community in agriculture, community development, and areas in which both programs overlap.

Cora holds a B.S. in Animal Production and International Agronomy from Purdue University and an M.S. in Agricultural Extension Education with a concentration in International Development from Ohio State University. While at OSU, Cora received a US Borlaug Fellowship in Global Food Security and conducted her research titled, “Exploring safety and health concerns with urban and peri-urban livestock production in the city of Managua, Nicaragua.” This project led her to work with a unique population of urban livestock producers in the largest city in Nicaragua. While there, she developed a set of workshops designed to train technicians to educate producers in the areas of Animal Health and Animal Quality Care.
