It is time to begin registering your projects for the 2017 Howard County Fair. We are again using Fair Entry as our registration program for the fair. The deadline for project entry has been moved up this year to May 15th to match the Drop/Add and Animal Entry deadline for 4-H online. The 4-H Swine project will provide the 4-H'er with a fun and hands-on learning experience which develops both swine subject skills (such as nutrition, housing, and health care) and life skills (such as responsibility, decision-making, nurturing, and communications) under the direction of caring adults.
The Wildlife project will allow you to observe and study wildlife which can provide a lifetime of enjoyment. This project will help you learn to identify wildlife, basic wildlife needs, and how wildlife interact with other wildlife and with people. At the advanced level you will learn how to create a wildlife habitat, wherever you live.
