The Hendricks County Extension Homemakers offer scholarships and a monthly teacher grant to Hendricks County educators. Kindergarten U is a week-long "boot camp" where pre-K youth experience what kindergarten will be like. The curriculum models a typical year of kindergarten where the participants read, write, count, explore the sciences, participate in physical exercises, and other fun, educational activities. Any child registered to start kindergarten in the Fall of 2016 is welcomed to participate. Download an application on this page.
