Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarships

There are four Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarships Available. More than $122,000 were awarded in 2016 

  • Senior Year Scholarship: Available to 4-H members in their senior year of high school.
  • Club Scholarship: Available to 4-H members entering Purdue University majoring in the College of Agriculture or select majors in the College of Health and Human Sciences.
  •  Accomplishment Scholarship: Available to 4-H members in grades 10-12 of high school and the year immediately following high school graduation. ( see flyer below for details on specific categories)
  • Purdue Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Scholarship: Available to a 4-H member majoring in horticulture or landscape architecture at Purdue University and has studied plant science in 4-H.

Farm Credit Mid-America Scholarships

Farm Credit Mid-America is now taking applications for scholarships now through the end of January 2017. Every year more than 60 scholarships are awarded to students attending technical or four-year colleges, and studying agriculture or finance. The application is open to children or grandchildren of Farm Credit customers. For an application and more information, click here

Hendricks County 4-H Sheep Club Scholarship

The Hendricks County 4-H Sheep club congratulates you on completing the 4-H Sheep Project for many years. They are excited to award scholarships for advanced education. See application below for details. Applications are due March 15, 2017 in the Extension Office.

Hendricks County Beef Cattle Association Scholarship

The Hendricks County Beef Cattle Association will award one or more $500 scholarships to a qualified Hendricks County student to help further his/her educational goals and to recognize his/her involvement in the beef industry. Applications are due to the Extension Office by March 15, 2017. See application below for more details. 

Hendricks County Extension Homemakers Scholarship

The Hendricks County Extension Homemakers will offer a $500.00 educational scholarship to a qualified Hendricks County student to help further their education goals and to encourage their continued development in the areas of Health and Human Sciences, Food Science, Education, or a related field. Applications are due in the Extension Office by March 15, 2017. See application below for details. 

Hendricks County Master Gardeners Scholarship

The Hendricks County Master Gardener (HCMG) Scholarship is a scholarship for students pursuing an education in the agricultural field of study. Applications are due in the Extension Office by April 24, 2017. See flyer below for details.  

Hendricks County Milk Producers Scholarship

The Hendricks County Milk Producers congratulate you on completing the 4-H Dairy project for many years. The HCMP continues to award scholarships for advanced education. See application below for details. Applications are due March 15, 2017 in the Extension Office. 

Hendricks County Swine Club Scholarship 

The Hendricks County Swine Club will be offering two (2) $250.00 scholarships to qualified Hendricks County students to help further his/her educational goals and to recognize his/her involvement in the swine industry. The applications are due May 1, 2017 to the Extension Office. See application below for details. 

Hendricks County Pork Producers Scholarship

The Hendricks County Pork Producers will offer one $400 scholarship to a qualified Hendricks County student to further his/her educational goals and to recognize his/her involvement in the swine industry. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided the recipient remains enrolled in the institution of higher learning, and meets the requirements outlined in the scholarship application. Applications are due March 15, 2017 in the Extension Office. See application below for details. 

Lesley Hampton Willis Memorial 4-H Livestock Scholarship

In memory of Lesley Hampton Willis a $500 scholarship will be given to a qualified Hendricks County 10 year 4-H member to help further his/her educational goals and to recognize his/her involvement in the 4-H livestock program. Applications are due March 15,2017 in the Extension Office. See application below for details.

Lesley Hampton Willis Memorial Cascade High School 4-H Scholarship

In memory of Lesley Hampton Willis a $500 scholarship will be given to a qualified Cascade student to help further his/her educational goals and to recognize his/her involvement in the Hendricks County 4-H program. Applications are due March 15,2017 in the Extension Office. See application below for details.
