Kindergarten U

This is the perfect opportunity for your child to experience kindergarten before they start in the fall. Participants go through a sample weeks of what takes place in most kindergarten classes (seat work, calendar time, counting games, weather report, letter of the day, activity stations, snack time, writing time, exercises & songs, etc.)

RT2: Read, Taste & Touch Celebration Week at the Fair

This program is designed to promote literacy, nutrition and agriculture to pre-K - first grade students. Every day of the fair a different book featuring nutrition, animal (agriculture), craft and snack will be presented. This is a free, educational program. Reserve your spot today!

F4: Finance, Food, Fun, Fitness

This program is designed to teach second and third graders about financial responsibility, nutrition and fitness. During the 4-H Fair, participants will receive a mini lesson on finance and then given "play money" to budget and make "point of purchase" decisions. The participants will visit 5 stations: crafty corner, snack shack, donation station, state Bank of Lizton (F4 Branch) and fitness finale. They will learn how to budget, spend, compare products and deposit money.
