I am excited to be able to extend this invitation to be a part of what we feel will be a very successful 2016 Indiana Small Farm Conference as an exhibitor in the conference trade show.
The trade show is an important facet of the overall conference. It is an opportunity for participants to learn about the latest goods and services that are available to enhance the success of and their satisfaction with their farm operation.
Purdue Extension invites Hoosiers interested in raising pastured poultry especially for the purpose of a farm based enterprise to attend an upcoming meeting to discuss the opportunities for farmers to collaboratively produce and market pasture poultry.
The first meeting, a callout meeting, will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Ivy Tech campus in Batesville, Ind. from 7-9 pm.
If we are going to build our economy from a position of strength, in Hancock County we would be remiss to not consider agriculture as a place to begin.
