Join Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy and La Porte-Porter County 4-H for Conservation Field Days! At this event, participants will learn about different wildlife in northwest Indiana, and the habitats they live in including forests, wetlands, and prairies. Participants will also learn about what an invasive species is, as well as the various types of macrointerebrates.
Most importantly, you will learn how to become a Conservation Crusader, and what you can do at home to conserve what we have!
Open to youth in grades 3rd - 12th, the event will happen rain or shine on June 13th and 14th from 9 AM - 12 PM. The event is free to current 4-H members, otherwise there will be a $15 program fee per child.
