Virtual Ag Days

For the last 34 years, Vanderburgh County 4th grade students have participated in Ag Days to learn about agriculture and where their food comes from. Since COVID-19 restrictions did not allow in-person education, Purdue Extension recruited 4-H members to create 12 videos about agriculture to share with 4th grade classrooms. Topics include animal by-products, beef cattle, dairy cattle, dairy by-products, goats, horse & pony, llamas, poultry, rabbits, sheep, swine, and tractor. While geared toward 4th grade students, anyone can take part in this engaging, educational series created by 4-H members, the future leaders in agriculture. All videos are housed on the Purdue Extension – Vanderburgh County YouTube channel. A complete list of video links is included below. We hope you view the videos created by the hard work of our 4-H members and learn something about agriculture along the way! Be sure to share so that others can learn more about agriculture too!
