Purdue Extension is pleased to announce a new program for early childhood providers, specifically those who cook for the children. Cooking Matters will provide 7 hours of professional development on the topics of creating positive mealtime attitudes, safe cooking, choosing healthy foods, meal planning and menu management on a budget. After being well received in Howard County, we will offer this in Grant County on Saturday, November 12 from 9:30am-4:00pm. Through grant funding, this program is offered for free and includes lunch. Please see the program flyer attached for more details. This will count for food program training hours. Contact your local HHS Educator with any questions. Space is limited, so register soon.
