Purdue Extension Offers Food Preservation Lunch and Learn
Join us at the Marshall County Council on Aging for a Preserve it Now… Enjoy it Later! Lunch and Learn workshop. This workshop will discuss the basics of food preservation and food safety. The workshop will be offered on August 15, 2024 from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM at the Life Enrichment Center 1305 W Harrison St. Plymouth, IN 46563. Purdue Extension offers more in-depth food preservation workshops throughout the year. These include half day or full day workshops that cover boiling water bath canning or pressure canning. Intensive “Mastering Home Food Preservation” multi-day workshops are also available during the year.
