Join PEMC at the 6th Annual Turn Festival and Dinner in collaboration with Paramount Indy

TURN Festival

The 6th Annual TURN (Transforming URban Neighborhoods) Festival is returning to Indianapolis on September 24th from 12-6pm. The TURN Festival is a one-day educational event presented by Paramount Schools of Excellence, in partnership with Community Health Network, focused on urban farming, food, the environment, and health.

The festival will be held at Paramount School of Excellence, the festival is a natural outgrowth of the work being done at the school in urban farming, ecology, green initiatives, and community outreach. Activities will include: workshops and demonstrations on urban farming, beekeeping, family gardening, food preservation healthy cooking, yoga, and cycling. 

Any proceeds from the festival will benefit Paramount's urban farm, environmental education, and summer S.T.E.A.M (Success Through Education Agriculture and Mentoring) programs.

This event is free and open to the public.

TURN Dinner & Chef Competition 

If you're looking to experience the "perfect bite," join us to experience a one-night event filled with exclusive access to perfected flavors from 20 of Indiana's top chefs. This event will be held on September 25th from 6-8pm at Paramount Brookside. This evening also features dynamic drinks, a silent auction, and an open bar.

This food event will feature 20 perfectly catered individual bites, with attendees voting their favorite "perfect bite" into the finals three chefs will battle head to head in a "perfect plate challenge" to determine a winner. 

And the best part about this event is that proceeds will benefit Purdue PolyTechnic High school, Purdue Extension Marion County, and Paramount Indy.
