4-H Trips and Activities are a great way to incorporate lifelong memories into your summer! Below, you can find a one page sheet that outlines the opportunities available (along with their dates and deadlines). Contact Lesley at the Extension Office (lodmell@purdue.edu or 812-275-4623) anytime you want more information about a trip. Often there is 4-H Council financial support for these activities if you sign up early.
Round Up
Open to 4-H members in grades 7-9, this three day experience also takes place at Purdue University. Participants will stay on campus June 20-22 and participate in exciting, hands-on career exploration with college faculty and staff. You can see the flyer and more information below. We currently have 10 partial scholarships from the 4-H Council remaining, so contact Lesley to register today.
4-H Academy @ Purdue (formerly Science Workshops)
4-H Academy @ Purdue is one of the best programs Indiana has to offer for high school 4-H members. Participants stay on campus at Purdue University and participate in hands-on sessions related to their track of interest. Youth have the opportunity to use state of the art spaces, equipment, and knowledge from Purdue University to explore their interests.
This 2016 session will be held June 8-10. Sign-ups have not opened yet, but contact the office if you have questions. Registrations will be due May 15.
