When you have been accepted into a training session, you should make every effort to attend all the classes in the series. Each class lasts 3 hours.
After completion of your training, you will take a test over the material covered and must score 70% or higher on the exam to become a MG intern. You must complete volunteer hours of approved garden-related activities equal to the number of classroom hours. Volunteer hours may consists of such services as answering garden questions, conducting gardening classes, working in the Master Gardener demo gardens and assisting in other garden related educational activities.
After you have completed the required volunteer hours as an intern, you will be certified as a Purdue Extension Master Gardener!
Wabash and Huntington Counties will be partnering this training series beginning Thursday, March 4th and ending Thursday, June 3rd.
