New! Floyd County 4-H STEM Club for grades 1-3 & 4-6

NEW CLUB!!

The 4-H STEM Club empowers children to be independent problem-solvers, while working cooperatively with their peers on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities.  Each month will feature a different themed activity which will require them to be constructive, creative, and think strategically.  Sample topics include:  robotics, coding, science experiments, engineering challenges, math games, and STEM career exploration. 

 

The two age groups will meet separately the second Saturday of each month starting April 10.

Location: Floyd County 4-H Fairgrounds

Time: 1st - 3rd grade will meet 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

           4th - 6th grade 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

 

There is a $20 annual fee to cover material costs in addition to annual $20 4-H membership fee, which allows children to participate in other clubs and state competitions.

New to 4-H? Simply enroll at v2.4honline.com (attached) and choose Floyd County  4-H STEM Club.  Current 4-H members can log into their profile at v2.4honline.com and add Floyd County 4-H STEM Club at the Clubs tab.
