4-H Newsletter for January/February 2022

Welcome 2022!  The New Year brings the news that Kathy Kent, Office Manager, retired after nearly 52 years working in the Extension Office on January 4th.  Her smile, her historical knowledge and office expertise will be sorely missed!  We wish her the best in her next life adventure!! Also, John Hawley, ANR Educator will be leaving us in February.  We wish him the best with his new position as Director of Communications for Montana State University Extension.

My resolution for 2022 is to find the best in every situation, and welcome new and returning faces into the 4-H program.  I wish everyone in the 4-H family an abundant, healthy and happy year!

A new year always brings a fresh start with good intentions. If you have not enrolled in 4-H as a member or an adult volunteer, NOW is the perfect time.  Start early this year preparing for your 4-H experience.  The Fair will be back in full force this summer with a contracted ride company in place.  Also you can look forward to a Tiger Show and music!  Let’s Make a Deal will also return with great prize opportunities!

This will be the last newsletter you receive if you are not enrolled in 4-H online by January 15th.  The mailing list is rolled over each January to currently enrolled members only.  Don’t get left behind with no 4-H communication….make sure you are enrolled by January 15th.
