Mini 4-H (Grades K-2)

Mini 4-H is a program designed to encourage positive development of children, kindergarten through second grade The goal of Mini 4-H is to help young children explore friendships outside the family; explore the way in which things work; practice both small and large muscle control; and think about the ways people work together on projects.

The Mini 4-H year typically starts in April and runs through July. There is a Mini 4-H Club meeting once a month where youth do hands on activities and learn basics about the 4-H program and what it stands for... Head, Heart, Hands, Health. The Mini 4-H Club is run by adults approved as 4-H volunteers. Parents are welcome to stay at Mini 4-H meetings. All members that sign up by January 15th will receive information on the Mini 4-H year during the month of March.

Mini 4-H Projects:

Members will make a project outside of meetings (except electric) and bring to fair judging. There is a different project for each grade level. Each Mini 4-H member can take two projects each year.

In the "Related Files" you will see a project manual for each project which will give you more info on the requirements of that project.
