  • Level 1 – Grades 3-5 – 4-H 672;
  • Level 2 – Grades 6-8 – 4-H 673;
  • Level 3 – Grades 9 and above – 4-H 674

 

 

Beginner (3-4)

Project Completion Recommendations

  1. Plan your project year.
  2. Grow a plot of corn.
  3. Complete at least four of the activities presented.
  4. Make an exhibit from one of the project activities you selected.
  5. Complete "Crops Projects Record Sheet" (first page only.)

 

Exhibit Meet the 4-H corn club exhibit or completion requirements as listed in the manual.

Intermediate (Grade 5-6-7)

Project Completion Recommendations

  1. Plan your project year.
  2. Grow a large plot of corn.
  3. Complete at least five of the activities presented.
  4. Make an exhibit from one of the project activities you selected.
  5. Complete "Crops Projects Record Sheet."

 

 Exhibit Meet the 4-H corn club exhibit or completion requirements as listed in the manual.

 

Advanced (Grade 8-9-10-11-12)

Project Completion Recommendations

  1. Plan your project year.
  2. Grow a large plot of corn.
  3. Complete at least seven activities presented.
  4. Make an exhibit from one of the project activities you selected.
  5. Complete "Crops Projects Record Sheet."

 

Exhibit Meet the 4-H corn club exhibit or completion requirements as listed in the manual.

 

 **ALL LEVELS - Attach to your exhibit an information card which includes:

  • Variety or hybrid and number
  • Date of planting
  • Maturity (early, medium, late)
  • Kind and amount of fertilizer
