Happy New Year 4-H Youth Members, Minis, Parents and Volunteers! The new year brings new opportunities.

We hope you had a wonderful holiday break and are ready to start the new year off with a few exciting workshops such as pie baking and woodworking! Make sure to check out all of our January events and meetings in the newsletter. You will need to register for any youth programs to ensure we can purchase supplies in advance.

For all of the high schoolers, adulting is hard! Make sure to sign up for the Life Lessons Workshop starting January 14th. All of the sessions are on zoom and are recorded in case you have to miss a session or two. You get a goodie box full of things related to all of the sessions! Details are on page 6. Also, high schoolers don’t miss the opportunity to be a camp counselor this year! More information on page 2.

Even though the fair is a few months away, please ensure you are on top of upcoming workshops and project requirements. QLC dates are on the last page and livestock workshops are on page 4. Dog Club will be starting soon also! The paperwork is located on the Allen County 4-H website. It is never too soon to start working on your projects! Manuals are available for purchase at the office. Also, we have worked hard to ensure the Allen County 4-H website is full of updated rules and
information. Please make sure you take a look at the website before beginning projects as some rules have changed.

As always, if you have questions please reach out to Rebecca or Stephenie or call the office at 260-481-6826. We hope your new year is off to an amazing start! Let’s make 2025 great.
