Purdue Extension: Expert Resources for COVID-19

2020 Gardening Series with Purdue Extension

June 8, 2020

Purdue Extension's Area V Agriculture and Natural Resources Educators created this 6 part webinar series to guide producers on best management practices for gardening. As people find more time to garden during social distancing to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, they are finding more time to do at home activities such as gardening. It also helps provide families with a food source during these times that the grocery store shelves are not always full.

This series has ended, however the recordings for each session have been linked below. We hope you enjoy them, and as always, feel free to reach out to Extension Educator with any questions you may have.

Session 1 - Getting Started with Your Garden

Session 2: A Glance at Pest Management

Session 3: Tips for Spring Crops

Session 4: The 4-1-1 on Warm Season Crops

Session 5: Gardening for Pollinators

Session 6: Disease Scouting & Control
