Purdue Extension is offering a hands-on opportunity for Southeast Indiana Judges and Leaders to enhance or develop their skills to be a Judge or Volunteer for Indiana 4-H. This clinic is perfect for both beginning and experienced Judges and Leaders. Topics will include Essential Elements of 4-H Youth Development, Empowering Youth, Innovative Ways for Group Decisions, and Constructive Judging Feedback. If you want to honor the family while building and transitioning your family farm business, there are important decisions and actions to take. This upbeat, interactive workshop, presented by Jolene Brown, CSP, will provide information about successful leaders and managers of legacy farms/businesses. Jolene's presentation, "The Positives of Passing It On," will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016.
Program for all families with youth between the ages of 10-14. This is a 7 week program that meets once a week. It was rated #1 out of 6,000 programs by the World Health Organization for prevention programs that prevent long-term effects on substance abuse and misuse.
