The federal government, in partnership with states, is deploying broadband funds through
the Broadband Equity, Adoption, and Deployment program also known as BEAD. Indiana is receiving close to $870 million. A map compiled by the FCC will dictate where these funds go. So, we need to make sure Indiana’s map is as accurate as possible. See the information below for details.

4-H brings youth together to learn new ideas, develop skills, work cooperatively to problem-solve community issues and needs, and to become leaders in their community.  The basis for the program is to utilize their HEADS for clearer thinking, HEARTS for greater loyalty, HANDS for larger service, & HEALTH for better living.  Not just for their own benefit, but for their club, community, country & their world. The public is invited to 4-H Corporation Board meetings usually held on the 4th Monday of each month at Newlin Hall.  Call the Floyd County Extension office to confirm meeting dates and times.
