Running for Elected Office Program
Anyone considering running for a local government office should plan to attend the Running for Elected Office program being hosted by Purdue Extension – Washington County, Washington County Clerk, and local political parties on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Washington County Government Building Meeting Room (806 Martinsburg Rd., Salem). During the program, participants will learn about the process for running for local office, requirements, and positions up for election in 2026.
