Zoom meetings, if you would like to schedule a meeting for your 4-H club, our District office secretary can do that. You would as leader be provided the log in and/or call in link and phone numbers. Purdue is making this option available at no charge.

Please give us a week to set that up. If you’re interested, please email Jane Ann Beard the request with date and time and email of who the contact person is to be.

Link to the Zoom session and instructions can be emailed!

Performing Arts 2020 - Entry Form is now available below & due 4/27/2020

Both the County and the Area Performing Arts events will be through submission of You Tube videos. Indeed a creative and different approach from the past, but we all know it’s a new norm for a time at least.

Instructions will be posted on the Daviess County website once we receive them and information regarding the Performing Arts categories are also available in the 4-H handbook (listed under related files below)

Those creative videographers may come up with a group act, while at the same time observing the social distancing guidelines we are following.

Music performances, readings, drama performances, etc. Be creative!! Any questions, email us!

From Dean Plaut, Glenn W. Sample Dean of Ag, Purdue University came this message today, March 18, 11:38am

“Extension/Engagement:

Current restrictions on Extension events have been extended through Sunday, May 17. No face-to-face Extension events may be held until Monday May 18”

****************************************

We understand this brings many questions to your mind, so before you pick up the phone to call the Daviess Co. Extension office or your 4-H leader, please read below!!

Will there be a 4-H Show, and/or other event questions following May 18?

Although there is no doubt that adjustments and disruptions in our schedules and plans will occur, we only know our plans through May 18 at this point.   We are all asking for your patience and understanding at this point in time.

As Purdue Extension, we are not in a position to cancel things past May 18 as these decisions will ultimately be made by the University, State Government, CDC, or President.

Credit to Extension co-worker for these well thought and stated comments.
