Entire project must be edible.
Edible materials include candies, nuts, cereals, crackers, and any other edible food without a wrapper, stick or other non-edible materials. Gingerbread focus as Main Building Material.
The Gingerbread House must: (I) be original; (2) be solely created by entrant; (3) not have won previous awards; and (4) not infringe the rights of any third party.
• Gingerbread Houses must be constructed only from hand-made gingerbread.
• Houses made from kits, graham crackers, or similar construction materials will not be accepted.
• Houses are to be mounted on a base which is sturdy enough to carry the exhibit. Bases should be under 6 inches from house or yard edge.
Divisions:
Beginner:
Gingerbread houses are to be no larger than 12"x12" or 12" circle.
Intermediate:
Gingerbread houses are to be no larger than 12"x18" or 18" circle.
Advanced:
In this division, you may exhibit barns, birdhouses, doghouses, lighthouses and other imaginative dwellings. Displays are to be no larger than 24"x24" or 24" circle.
