Clay County 4-H Junior Leaders
Why join 4-H Junior Leaders?
Serving as a 4-H Junior Leader is a honor and a responsibility. Junior Leaders offers the opportunity to develop leadership abilities while serving as mentors and role models to the younger 4-H members. While working with others, you make new friends and become leaders in the community.
The Junior Leaders year is from October to August. Junior Leaders is open to anyone enrolled in 4-H who is in 7th-12th grades during the current year.
To complete 4-H Junior Leaders, you must:
- Be enrolled in 4-H for the current year.
- Be in 7th-12th grades during the current school year.
- Assist with the Mini 4-H program.
- Work your shifts in the Junior Leader Stand at the fair.

November 18 - Meeting at 7 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall; Officer Elections
November 29 - Christmas Parade; meet on Vandalia Street at 6:30 p.m., bring candy
December 14th - Pancakes With Santa; more info to be announced
December 16th - Meeting at 7 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall
Laser Tag will take place during Christmas Break with date to be announced
January 20 - Meeting at 7 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall
