Wednesday, June 30 – 4-H Record Sheets Due at the Extension Office

Sunday, July 4 - 4-H Fair Entries Due in FairEntry

Saturday, July 10 – Pre-fair Clean-up, 8 AM – Noon

Monday, July 12 – 4-H Fair Board Meeting, 7 PM, Lake Pavilion

Tuesday, July 13 – Extension Office temporarily relocates to County Park

Wednesday, July 14 – 4-H Achievement Winner Judging, 3 PM, Steuben County Event Center; 4-H Photography Check-in, 4:30-5:30 PM with Judging at 5:30 PM, Steuben County Event Center; 4-H Non-Perishable Project Check-in, 4:30 – 8 PM, Steuben County Event Center

Thursday, July 15 – 4-H Perishable Project Check-in, 8 AM, Steuben County Event Center; 4-H Project Judging, 9 AM, Steuben County Event Center; Concessions by the Otsego Go-Getters 4-H Club; 4-H Rocket Launch to take place directly after judging, weather permitting; Poultry Project Check-in, 3-8 PM, Poultry Barn; Miss Steuben County Queen Contest (crowning to take place Friday), 7:30 PM, Steuben Community Center


Friday, July 16 – RPM Trucking, Dump Truck, and Flatbed Division Day – Gates operated by Hamilton Lions Club

8 AM – Noon – 4-H Livestock Project Check-in, Livestock Barns

1 PM – 4-H Dog Show, Rensch Hall

1 PM – 4-H Poultry Show, Poultry Barn

3 PM - 4-H Faceoff Registration Due, Fair Office

5 PM – Lasagna Dinner by the Lucky Ducks 4-H Club, Lions Bldg

5:30 PM – Opening Ceremonies, Rensch Hall

6 PM – Little Miss and Mister Contest and Miss Steuben County Queen Crowning, Rensch Hall 

7 PM – Truck and Tractor Pulls (bring a lawn chair), Pulling Track

8 - 11 PM – Free Concert:  Mason Dixon Line, Rensch Hall @masondixonlineband


Saturday, July 17 – Boutique and Craft Show Day - Steve Jennings Ecowater Systems Day – Gates operated by Pleasant Lake Lions Club

8 AM – Started Calf and Dairy Feeder Consignment Bidding, Started Calf Barn

9 AM – 4-H Swine Show, Rensch Hall

9 - 11 AM – Open Class Project Check-in, Lions Building

10 AM – 2 PM – Boutique and Craft Show, North of Lions Building

10 AM – 4-H Rabbit Show, Rabbit Barn

Noon – 4-H Rocket Launch Rain Date, meet outside Event Center

1 PM – Open Class Exhibit Judging, Lions Building

2 PM – 4-H Dairy Show, Rensch Hall

4 PM – Open Class Silent Auction for Baked Goods, Lions Building

4 - 8 PM - Chainsaw Carvings by Scott Lepley, Lions Building

5 PM – Hog Roast Dinner by the Angola High School FFA Chapter, Lions Building

6 - 8 PM – Free Concert: Mud Creek, Rensch Hall

8 PM – IPRA and Mid-States Rodeo by Diamond J Rodeo Company, Grandstands (8-event show includes: Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc, Team Roping, Bareback Riding, and Cowgirl Breakaway Roping)


Sunday, July 18 – Miller Poultry Day – Gates operated by Land of Lakes Lions Club

9 AM – 4-H Horse & Pony Show (English, Versatility, Speedmanship), H&P Arena

1 PM – Mid-Summer Mud Run (bring a lawn chair), Pulling Track

2 PM – 4-H Consumer Clothing and 4-H Sewing Fashion Revue Judging, Lions Building

2 PM - Auburn Community Band, Lawn north of Lions Building

2 PM – 4-H Dairy Feeder Steer, Beef Feeder, Dairy Beef, and Beef Shows, Rensch Hall

4 - 8 PM – Chainsaw Carvings by Scott Lepley, Lions Building

4 - 9 PM – JoJu Animal Petting Zoo and Pig Races

5 PM – Baked Potato Bar Dinner by The Conquerors 4-H Club, Lions Building

Monday, July 19 – Angola American Legion Post #31 Day - Gates operated by the Angola and Hamilton American Legions

8:30 AM – 4-H Started Calf Show, Rensch Hall

11 AM – 4-H Horse & Pony Show (Western Pleasure, Halter, Trail, Showmanship), H&P Arena

2 PM – 4-H Cat & Kitten Show, Rensch Hall

4 PM – 4-H Verbal Communications Presentations, Rensch Hall

4 - 9 PM – JoJu Animal Petting Zoo and Pig Races

5 PM – Brisket Mac and Cheese Dinner by Fremont Ready, Willing & Able 4-H Club, Lions Building

5 PM - 4-H Sheep Show, Rensch Hall

7 PM – Free Performance by the Prairie Heights High School Drama Club, Rensch Hall


Tuesday, July 20 – Kids’ Day – Big C Lumber Day – Gates operated by Orland Tigers Youth League and Prairie Heights Football Team

11 AM – Coloring Contest, ages 1-12, Lions Building

11:15 AM – Story Time with the Carnegie Public Library, Lions Building

Noon – Kids’ Craft Time, Lions Building

1 PM – Kids’ Carnival Games, ages 0-12, Rensch Hall

2 PM – 4-H Horse & Pony Show (Speed), H&P Arena

2:30 PM – Paper Airplane Toss, ages 3-12, Rensch Hall

3 PM – Pedal Tractor Pull by Farm Bureau Inc., ages 3-12, Rensch Hall

4 - 9 PM – JoJu Animal Petting Zoo and Pig Races

1 PM – Water Games for 4-H’ers, meet west of the Horse & Pony Barn

2:30 PM - 4-H Blender Bike and Spin Art, Lions Building

4 – 9 PM – JoJu Animal Petting Zoo (no pig races today)

4 PM – 4-H Small Animal Supreme Showmanship Contest, Rensch Hall

5 PM – Taco Dinner by the Prairie Heights Volleyball Team, Lions Building

5 – 8 PM – Classic Car and Truck Cruise-In, Lions Building Parking Lot, Free Gate Admission for all Cruisers

6 PM – 4-H Large Animal Supreme Showmanship Contest (Horse), H&P Arena

6:15 PM – 4-H Large Animal Supreme Showmanship Contest, Rensch Hall

Following Showmanship – Release of Non-Auction and Non-Block Sale Animals
